I am an aspiring computer scientist and future social changemaker.
I aspire to explore the interdisciplinary fields of knowledge between technology and social justice issues. I'd love to take subjects like artificial intelligence and machine learning, computational biology, and energy tech, and combine it with studies on women's rights, racial injustice, and health inequity. I aspire to pursue a career in tech that combines both of these interests and allows me to create a meaningful impact on society! I'm an avid coder, and I'm most experienced with web programming (HTML, CSS, and Javascript), but I also have knowledge in Python and Java! I'm eager to continue learning and gain new perspectives!
Check out what I've been working on!
I'm passionate about bridging the existing education gap, and so I'm involved in tutoring for the Chinatown Service Center, where I assist on homework and create fun activities to motivate students to practice their academic skills.
As someone who wants to address humanitarian needs, I'm engaged with the American Red Cross both at a school and regional level. I've built communication/advocacy skills as a Blood Donor Ambassador and school officer.
I'm immersed in the climate crisis movement and as a cabinet member of my school's Eco Club, I've engage in community conversations and launched a recycling campaign to reduce waste/promote upcycling on campus.
